Update: American College of Radiology Annual Meeting
Dear ACR Council Members, Chapter Leaders & Staff and ACR 2020 Registrants:
The health, safety and well-being of our members, staff, patients and families are of paramount importance during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the best interests of everyone involved and to meet essential governance objectives, we are transitioning from an on-site meeting in Washington, DC to a live virtual meeting to be held from May 16 to May 19. Your leaders have been working closely with ACR staff to prioritize the Council’s essential governance work into a condensed meeting program. A proposed program is listed online, and this will be updated as planning continues. Agenda materials for the meeting will be available online April 1.
Supplemental programming that has previously been included as part of the annual meeting (e.g., CME sessions, RFS and YPS programs, Chapter Leaders’ Workshop, etc.) will not be included in the virtual meeting in May. Consideration will be given to alternative approaches to make such supplemental programming available.
We have developed an online list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) and will continue to update this web page as we transition to a virtual meeting. Please mark your calendar for a virtual Council Town Hall on Thursday, April 2 at 8:00 pm EDT to learn more about this transition (details to follow).
