Who We Are

The Arkansas Radiological Society is a Chapter of the American College of Radiology.  Our members are comprised of radiologists, medical physicists and radiation oncologists in the state of Arkansas. We hold various activities throughout the year, including our annual Chapter meeting, the ACR Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, as well as various political activities held throughout Arkansas. Our elections are held in the spring, with rotation of Chapter Officers taking place after the ACR Annual Meeting.

Our Mission

The mission of the Arkansas Chapter of the ACR is to serve the patients of Arkansas and society by maximizing the value of radiology, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine and medical physics.  We work to advance the sciences of radiology, to improve the quality of patient care, to positively influence the socio-economics of the practice of radiology, and to provide continuing education on topics in radiology.
