Dr. Gwendolyn Bryant-Smith Elected Chair of the American College of Radiology College Nominating Committee
The Arkansas Radiological Society proudly announces that Dr. Gwendolyn Bryant-Smith, Professor of Radiology and Division Chief of Breast Imaging at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, has been elected Chair of the American College of Radiology (ACR) College Nominating Committee.
The ACR College Nominating Committee plays a pivotal role in identifying and recommending future leaders within one of the most influential professional organizations in radiology. Dr. Bryant-Smith’s election to lead this committee reflects her long-standing commitment to excellence in medical leadership, service, and patient-centered care.
Dr. Bryant-Smith served as Vice Chair of the committee in 2024 and has contributed extensively to the ACR through roles including the Bulletin Advisory Group and the Committee on Quality Experience – Patient and Family Centered Care. She also serves on the RSNA Nominating Committee and was recently honored as a Fellow of the American College of Radiology.
Her election is a milestone and highlights the impact the Arkansas Chapter of the American College of Radiology has nationally.
